The landscape and nature of Britain - a voyage of discovery
Welcome to my website - a personal portfolio of travels around Britain. The variety and diversity of our landscape never ceases to amaze and each location brings something fresh and new.
I live near the North Downs on the Surrey/West Sussex border, so there is much to see and photograph locally. I am however most inspired by the beauty and raw grandeur of the more remote parts of Britain - the highlands and islands of Scotland being my favourites. Mood and inspiration go hand in hand - spending time in these places allows me to adapt to a slower pace of life, and to adopt the more thoughtful and creative approach essential for good landscape photography.
